March Still Life 2

This still life features everything from using crumpled paper for the floral design on the red can, scumbling, and glazing techniques over under paintings. My original composition was weak so I tried to modify it by making color variances and patterns to pull the viewers eyes around the painting.

March Still Life

Members of the LAG opted to study a still life this month instead of the live model. The still life was extremely complex, allowing the members to choose from many different subjects. This painting is using imprematura, underpaintings, glazing and scumbling techniques.
