Coming HomePregnant female cows were called down from

Pregnant cows were called down from upper acreage
to their wintering area. I was so surprised
that these ladies came down when hearing only
the rancher's voice.

Model as Kabuki

Today our model. Denise, came dressed as a kabuki dancer.
This was Jeanie Schlump's acrylic rendering
in the 2 hour session.

Jeanie worked more on the figure in her studio
to develop the kabuki. At this stage the hair is unfinished.

It is a shame, but I forgot to document this
painting before I framed it. So, as a result,
the image is distorted and glares are
present on the surface of the glass
which is also making the color off.

Watercolor Experimentation

Jeanie Schlump has been teaching a few watercolor classes
at our local Senior Center.
Each week the painters try a new technique.

Drawn to Yellowstone, a film about the impact of Thomas Moran's
art & the photographs of William H Jackson on
the persuasion of Congress to set aside Yellowstone and
designate it as the first national park in 1872.

Three members, Jeanie Schlump, Susan Tupper,
and Sandra Guzzo brought in 6 current art projects to show the LAG.
